ग़ज़ल

Why pretend to talk of truce,
When hatred runs through each other’s veins,
An arrow is always an arrow,
Whether in a quiver -
Or had pierced someone’s veins.

Circumstances may compel to change,
But not to a limit to crumble thus,
A lion can never savour grass
Whether in forest or in a circus
You cannot silence the dynamite,
Flowing in each vein – ready to explode,
You may burn pyres of rebellions,
It will still bring - new revolutions to the fore

World may stop me
Or any one who has the might
When I have resolved to speak the truth
Truth shall I speak - with all the right.
